You do not have to show up with the “right” words or the “perfectly articulated” problem. It's ok to be confused, skeptical, tired, or overwhelmed. We've got you.

  • Tell the difference between a “therapy problem” and a “coaching problem” in the context of work

  • Understand how therapy can support your career, including narrative work, identity work & nervous-system work (h

  • Understand how coaching can support your career, including setting a career vision and following through on that plan without burning yourself out

  • Spot the limitations of each modality so you’re not expecting therapy to act like coaching, or coaching to act like therapy

  • Use your current goals to decide what you need next

  • Ask better questions when you’re meeting with a potential therapist or coach, like

  • Recover from a bad experience with a therapist or coach

Chelsey Reese

Is a licensed therapist and founder of Power Through Process, whose work empowers women of color to release stored trauma through sound healing, yoga, and holistic therapy - so they can trust themselves, set boundaries, and rest without guilt.

Her approach is collaborative, social justice informed, and rooted in embodied awareness and helps high achieving women build self-awareness by tuning in to what’s happening in their bodies so that they can connect to the present moment and make meaningful connections with the world around them.
